The Venezuelan brothers based in Miami have turned their connection into one of the most distinctive forces in Latin pop today. Blending songwriting, emotion and natural chemistry, Mau y Ricky have built a career marked by billions of streams, diamond certifications and sold-out tours around the world.
Since emerging as songwriters in 2014, they have co-written global hits such as Vente Pa’ Ca (Ricky Martin & Maluma), Sin Pijama (Becky G & Natti Natasha), recognized by Rolling Stone among the “100 Greatest Reggaeton Songs of All Time”, and, more recently, collaborated on the new Zayn Malik album, consolidating a songwriting career that continues to connect them with some of the biggest artists in global music.
Following the critical and artistic impact of Hotel Caracas (2024), the album that earned them three Latin GRAMMY nominations, the brothers now enter a new chapter with Ricky y Mau (2026), their most honest, spontaneous and emotionally open project to date.
The album presents a more refined and ambitious sonic identity, naturally moving between contemporary Latin pop, emotional songwriting and global influences. Produced by JonTheProducer, the project also features production from Stromae, Daramola and Robbie Meza. The artists featured on the album, including Marc Anthony, Lia Kali and Kapo, showcase Mau y Ricky’s unique ability to connect with different musical worlds without losing their own identity.
At the center of this new era is Casablanca in Miami, the creative space founded by the brothers where much of this new universe was born.
Today more than ever, Mau y Ricky continue making music from the place that defines them best: each other.
